Two more people have been arrested related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area on suspicion of theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

The arrests come after an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured during the incident. Five people went to hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.

Police detained a 31-year-old man for suspected theft and assault near the scene. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Police were alerted at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding several people hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was isolated and not being treated as an act of terror - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
